Rededication Fixation

On May 19, 2026, a gathering in front of the Bradford County courthouse in Towanda, PA met to rededicate Bradford County to God. On July 12, Commissioner McLinko – bless his heart – is holding a good old big tent religious revival on his property. All of this follows Donald Trump’s May 17 rededication of the U.S. to the same deity.

As innocuous as the gatherings seem to be, we all know that once our true-believing resident Christians and Evangelicals crack the door open, they’ll want total control. They want to replace the U.S. Constitution with the Christian Bible. And this means things have to change.

- No shrimp, crab, lobster or pork. (Leviticus 11:7-12)
- No tattoos. (Leviticus 19:28)
- Rebellious children are to be stoned. (Deuteronomy 21:21)
- Adultery is out too even though our president and some rededicators seem to major in the subject. The penalty is death. (Leviticus 20:10-16)
- Some good news for rapists though. If a man rapes a virgin, all he has to do is pay her father and marry the girl. But he can never divorce her. (Deuteronomy 22:28-29)
- You can’t cut the hair around your temples or trim the edges of your beard. (Leviticus 19:27)
- No jeans with torn knees. (Leviticus 10:6)
- You must stone anyone who worships other gods. (Deuteronomy 17:2-5)
- Death to anyone who works on the Sabbath (Exodus 31:14)

Some of the crazier parts of the Bible command to feed the hungry, welcome the stranger, help the poor, and aid the sick. But these are mostly ignored by the current Christian Nationalists following the MAGA version. The new and rededicated Bradford County, assuming all of the rules in the Bible are followed to the letter, will look more like Iran than a supposedly modern thriving civilization. Hopefully, other counties will welcome strangers.
