Crazy Old Man Trump Threatens Iran

Trump just threatened Iran via an all upper-case tweet with "... CONSEQUENCES THE LIKES OF WHICH FEW THROUGHOUT HISTORY HAVE EVER SUFFERED BEFORE."

Some background is in order. In August, 2017, he threatened N. Korea with "fire and fury", then gave Kin Jong-un -- a brutal dictator who murders, imprisons, and enslaves his own people -- a world stage in June 2018, said Kim was "talented" and that he "loves his people."  Trump subsequently halted joint military exercises between the U.S. and S. Korea because Kim said they were threatening.  We got nothing in return, and N. Korea continues with their nuclear program. Incidentally, Russia and China wanted the U.S. / S. Korea exercises stopped too. Trump's meeting with Kim gave the dictator propaganda that he can use to further subjugate his people for decades.

In July 2018, Trump met with the "elected" president of Russia, Vladimir Putin, in Helsinki. Putin murders his opponents, fixes his own elections, and he attacked Great Britain with a nerve gas resulting in one death. Our intelligence community has long concluded that Putin ordered cyber attacks on our election and that the attacks continue and are escalating. Trump said that Russia wasn't involved, then he said they were, then he continued with incomprehensible statements that disagreed with his previous incomprehensible statements. He met with Putin for 2 hours with no aides or notes (other than what Russia probably recorded) and promised who-knows-what to the man who is more-than-likely blackmailing him with any number of issues that this useful idiot has fallen for over decades of dealing with Russia. Putin can claim Trump promised him anything he wants because we have no record of what transpired and our compromised president must agree.

N. Korea got everything they wanted and we got nothing. Putin got everything he wanted and the world was shown a U.S. president licking Putin's boots. Now Trump threatens Iran as a diversion from his disastrous "Surrender Summit" with Putin. I predict a meeting between Trump and Iran's leader where Trump gives them enriched uranium and calls them "fine people." With a president like Trump, we don't need enemies.
